Back when he was just 13, Livingston Taylor picked up his first guitar, and began a forty-year career of songwriting, performing, recording and teaching that continues today. Raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina where his father was a dean at UNC, Livingston comes from a musical family that includes siblings Alex, James, Kate and Hugh. His top forty hits include "I will Be in Love with You" and "I'll Come Running" among others. His songs "I Can Dream of You" and "Boatman" were both recorded by his brother James. Livingston's creative output has continued unabated. His music knowledge has inspired a varied repertoire, and his is equally qt home with a range of musical genres--folk, pop, gospel, jazz--and from upbeat storytelling to touching ballads.
